Tekashi 6ix9ine hospitalized after gym attack

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized on Tuesday after being assaulted by a bunch of assailants in the restroom of a gym in South Florida, according to Variety.

According to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, the 26-year-old rapper, whose actual name is Daniel Hernandez, suffered facial injuries and bruises.

According to Lazzaro, the rapper was attacked by three or four individuals who beat him up inside and outside the LA Fitness gym sauna, despite his attempts to fight back.

"He had scratches and bruises on his face," Lazzaro stated. According to the attorney, the culprits left after employees heard the noise.

According to Lazzaro, police in South Florida were contacted, and Hernandez was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. It is unknown whether the rapper is still in the hospital.


Lazzaro told TMZ that he intends to provide Hernandez with protection once he is freed from federal prison in April 2020.

Hernandez was caught and sentenced to two years in jail in 2019 on nine charges related to his membership with the Nine Trey Bloods gang, including racketeering,

drug trafficking, and weapons violations. Hernandez's jail term was reduced when he worked with federal authorities to punish his colleagues. As

One of Hernandez's assailants is heard stating in a video released on Twitter, "Snap a photo. "I'm going to be famous now." Another footage showed a bleeding Hernandez leaving the gym.

Hernandez was expelled from a Miami baseball stadium on Friday for being inebriated and disrupting fans, according to multiple media sources.
