in case former President Donald Trump is charged and appears in open court in Manhattan.
According to individuals briefed on the conversation, the two agencies spoke on the phone on Monday to plan
the possible surrender of Trump for processing and booking, as well as court security.
In New York, white collar criminal suspects are frequently permitted to negotiate a surrender.
Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, stated earlier on Monday that he is "sure" the city is ready
for any protests connected to the possibility of the former president being charged.
At a separate press conference on Monday, Adams stated, "We are monitoring social media comments,
