Lea Michele's son is "not out of the woods yet."

After two-year-old Ever, whom she has with husband Zandy Reich, needed treatment for an undisclosed issue, the former "Glee" actress pulled out of some Broadway performances of

"Funny Girl." While Ever is "headed in a good direction" and she has returned to work, the toddler isn't fully back to himself yet.

Lea posted a backstage video from "Funny Girl" on Instagram on Saturday (25.03.23) and said: "Hello everybody. My dressing room greeting. Tonight's 'Funny Girl'.

"I'm glad to return. It's been a tough week and our son is still struggling, but we're grateful that he's improving."

After a hectic week, the 36-year-old star revealed she was exhausted. She added: "I'm back. I suppose my cold is from not sleeping this week. I'm glad to be back with my Funny Girl family.

"Thanks for all the love and support this week. I'm grateful. "I'm excited and we'll make tonight great for everyone. I adore you all."

Lea's video came a day after she announced she was returning to the production because Ever was nearing discharge.

She wrote: "Our son is coming home from the hospital. Thank you, wonderful doctors and hospital staff. I'll perform at @Funnygirlbwy this weekend. (sic)"

On Wednesday (22.03.23), the "Scream Queens" star announced her son's hospitalization. Instagram Story: "Sorry, I'll miss @FunnyGirlBwy today.

I'm at the hospital with our son for a scary health condition.
