On March 26, Lady Gaga was spotted recording sequences for the upcoming musical Joker sequel while dressed as Harley Quinn in full costume.
Over the weekend, the 36-year-old was seen on camera in New York City. She will play a superhero in the upcoming Tod Phillips movie Joker: Folie à Deux.
Joaquin Phoenix won the Oscar for best actor for his portrayal of the first Joker.It's very obvious from the way Gaga is dressed that she is playing Quinn,
the schizophrenic sidekick of the evil Joker in the Batman comics. She can be seen in the pictures surrounded by actors holding posters that read "Free Joker" and "Joker Marry Me."
The film is scheduled to premiere on October 4, 2024.Phillips posted a picture of Gaga in the role earlier this year, but more of her in character have since surfaced.
Gaga had a number of significant film roles, including her breakthrough performance in A Star Is Born. In the movie House of Gucci, she also portrayed Patrizia Reggiani, the lead part.
The first film in the series became the most successful comic book movie of all time in 2019. Moreover, it is the most successful R-rated film ever.
The screenplay was written by Scott Silver, who will also work on the sequel with Phoenix and Phillips.
