The Post has discovered that the longstanding Pasadena, California home of Tom Girardi and Erika Jayne has been placed for rent at $38,000 per month by its new owners.
The joint tenants Tao Jun and Peng Tao bought the repossessed home for $8 million, and it only took four months for them to decide to put it back on the market.
With the exception of some furniture and the library's books, Jun and Tao don't appear to have moved in themselves and
seem to have gotten rid of the most of Girardi and Jayne's possessions. The about 10,300 square foot estate,
which has four bedrooms and six bathrooms, is located next to the Annandale Golf Club on almost two acres of ground.
The house, which had been initially priced at $13 million, spent an additional year and a half on the market before selling in November after five price reductions.
Photos show the pool in a run-down condition. The listing is held by Wei Lei with Harvest Realty Development.
In addition to other claims, the former lawyer is accused of stealing millions meant for victims of Lion Air Flight 610, which led to his bankruptcy.
A total of $517 million in claims have been made against Girardi's legal practise in the continuing bankruptcy case, according to court documents obtained by The Post.
