$21 million Home Of Meghan,Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle settle in Montecito after leaving Frogmore Cottage, their home in Great Britain, in 2020.

The Duchess is speaking out about how her life has changed since the pair purchased a 16-bedroom mansion in the exclusive California suburb for AU$21 million two years ago.

Meghan was open about how the large house is "peaceful and soothing" and eventually "makes her feel free" in a recent cover story with The Cut.

We did everything we could to get this house. "Because you enter and leave..." Joy. then let out a breath. also peace. It's therapeutic. You sense freedom.

Meghan was open about how the large house is "peaceful and soothing" and eventually "makes her feel free" in a recent cover story with The Cut.

Because they had recently left the Royal Family and were without employment,

Meghan and Prince Harry admitted that they had simply toured the exterior of the house rather than peeking inside because they didn't think they would be able to afford it.

A huge pool, a tennis court, a chicken coop, rose gardens, a roomy patio with a wood-fired stove, and a barbeque are among the property's outside amenities.

In the end, the couple fell in love with the house and quickly bought it. Since then, they have turned it into their home by relocating there with their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

With a library, office that Meghan and her husband share, a sauna, gym, games room, arcade, wine cellar, and five-car garage, the estate offers plenty of area for the kids to develop.

When the couple bought the house, the bedrooms and the main living area had wide windows that let the California sun shine through and were decorated with traditional wooden beams.

It is unknown how much of the house's original features have been preserved, despite Meghan telling the publication that she and Harry had renovated it.
