This pizza comes out of the oven hot and fresh with a hearty dose of real Mexican toppings.
Ingredients of Mexican Pizza
- For Pizza Base:
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 1/2 Cups Maize Flour
- 3 tsp Oil
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- Water
- Oil
- For Pizza Topping:
- 3 Cups Rajma
- 3 Onions, finely chopped
- 8-9 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 3 Tbsp Ghee
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- 1 1/2 Cups Tomato Puree
- Nos Salt
- For Hot Sauce:
- 1 Kg Tomatoes, chopped
- 1 Onion , chopped
- 6 Red Chillies (dry)
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 3 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ajwain
- To taste Salt
- For garnishing:
- 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
- 1 Cup Cheese, grated
- 1/2 Cup Spring onions, chopped
- Jalapenos, sliced
Directions
1.Combine the flours, add 3 teaspoons of oil, salt, and water to form a soft dough.
2. Make thin rounds and deep-fry them in oil until they are crisp.
3. Set apart.
assemble the pizza topping:
1. After an overnight soak, boil and drain the beans.
2. Mash the beans while reserving the liquid.
3. Ghee and butter are heated in tandem. Cook the onions until they are translucent. Mix thoroughly after adding the beans. Combine the salt, ketchup, and puree. Keep mashing the mixture while it cooks until the colour darkens.
4. Set apart.
Prepare Hot sauce:
1. The chiles should be soaked in a cup of water.
2. Cook the onions in the oil before adding the tomatoes, peppers, and water. Cook until the tomatoes are tender, let cool, and then puree in a blender.
3. Reheat the sauce after that. Add salt, sugar, and ajwain. Cook for a another 10 minutes, then set aside.
Prepare the garnishing:
1. Spread some rajma, jalapenos, and sauce on the fried pizza.
2. Add some onions and sour cream, then top with a tablespoon.
3. Add the cheese last, then grill for five minutes.
4. Serve right away.
